Professional Boundaries & Ethics
Creating a safe, professional, and ethical space for every client.
What Coaching Is & Is Not
Coaching IS: A collaborative, self-directed process centered on personal clarity, goal refinement, choice awareness, and purposeful action.
Coaching IS NOT: Therapy, counseling, psychiatric diagnosis, psychological treatment, legal advice, financial consulting, or medical advice.
Scope of Practice
As a professional life coach, I do not diagnose mental health conditions, treat psychological trauma, or prescribe therapeutic interventions. If during our sessions it appears that therapy or medical support would better serve your health and well-being, I will openly share this observation and encourage you to connect with a qualified specialist.
Confidentiality & Limits
All client communications, session notes, and contact details are held in strict confidence. Information will never be disclosed to third parties unless required by law, or in rare circumstances where there is an imminent risk of serious physical harm to yourself or others.
Code of Ethics & Dual Relationships
I adhere to standard international professional coaching codes of ethics:
- No Dual Relationships: I do not enter into financial, personal, or commercial relationships with active coaching clients that could compromise professional objectivity.
- Respect & Autonomy: I honor your values, culture, beliefs, and autonomy without imposing personal views.
- Integrity: I state my credentials and scope of practice accurately without making false claims or promising specific outcomes.
